Saro, Cinnamosma fragrans, is produced from a Madagascan plant which is locally well – known for its antimicrobial, strong anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities.
Saro essential oil is great to add to your medicine cabinet with its powerful germ killing potential. It is an effective oil for many ailments. Due to its high content level of 1,8 cineole combined with a-pinene, as both are expectorant and mucolytic. Saro oil is definitely worth experimenting with in a diffuser and inhalation blends intended to help combat the symptoms of the flu and bronchitis. Include it in your mists and surface cleaners intended to help kill germs and fight bacteria.
Diffuse. Saro has a beautiful aroma. It adds energy to the air and it’s very uplifting. Kills airborne germs-especially viruses, builds the immune system and helps with sinus congestion.
Use as an Aroma Stick
Use as a facial steam. Directions: Boil plain water without the oil blend; pour boiling water into bowl, add 1 drop of oil to the bowl of hot water. With a towel, cover and place head over bowl breathing in through nostrils and mouth to get steam into both head and chest for 5 minutes or longer. Can also be used in warm bath water adding 2~3 drops to water. Caution ~ Be careful when working with boiling water.
