Cedarwood comes from several different trees that grow in different parts of the world, and may have different uses. Juniperus virginiana is a dense slow-growing coniferous evergreen tree with a short trunk. Bark is reddish brown, leaves are scale like and it has berry-like cones, light green in spring, turning dark blue.
Some of its therapeutic Properties are: Antibacterial, diuretic, expectorant, insecticide.
This oil blends well with bergamot, cypress, frankincense, ginger, jasmine, patchouli, orange, vetiver and ylang ylang.
One of my personal favorites for grounding.
Cedarwood is a base note and the aroma is sweet & woody, (pencil-like)
